Madhya Pardesh is a central state of India hence it’s also know as the heart of India.  Madhya Pardesh is the only place in India where all the places are significant in terms of Tourism.

Many time it comes to one’s mind that what is there to see in Madhya Pradesh or what are the places to see in Madhya Pradesh? Madhya Pradesh offers a lot of options to a traveler with much special interest tourism.  Madhya Pradesh offers Wildlife tourism, Village tourism, cultural and historical places, Tribal tourism, and nature and adventure tourism.

There are places like Gwalior, Orchha, Khajuraho, Bhopal, Sanchi, Jabalpur, Indore, Ujjain, Mandu, Omareshwar, Maheshwar which enjoys both cultural and historic significance. Among the above places three sites have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO namely Khajuraho temples, Sanchi Stupa and the rock shelters of Bhimbetka.

Madhya Pradesh offers some wonderful and world famous national parks on the earth due to its maximum green forest cover.   These national parks are home to many species of wild animals. These are Kanha,  Bandhavgarh, Pench, Satpura , Panna, Madhav National park etc.

Madhya Pradesh is the central state of India.  It is blessed with green forest and jungles enveloping almost the whole state. Thus, Madhya Pradesh has maximum number of nature reserves and national parks. Madhya Pradesh has a significant historic back ground as well. It starts with the places near Mandu and Jabalpur where the fossils of Dinosaurs were found.  The place like Bhimbetka takes you back to the history 35000 years old.  These pre historic caves which are in true sense “the portal to the ancient gallery of Bhimbetka” preserves some fascinating paintings dating back to Paleolithic times.
